Golfing at the NorthRiver Yacht Club
Paradise. That might be the most concise word to describe the experience and appearance of the NorthRiver Yacht Club Golf Course. This 18 hole, par 71 course was initially was designed by famed golfer Gary Player in 1978. The gorgeous, lushly landscaped course cleverly wends its way through rolling hills and thick wooded alcoves, making for a delightful game.In 1999, renowned golf course architect Bob Cupp re-envisioned the course while staying true to the original design.
Tournament-Worthy Tennis Courts
Play your own game or get expert lessons from our professional, dynamic instructors. Play a game on one of the three lighted hard Yacht Club courts. Serve and volley well into the night as the lights illuminate your court and sparkle upon Lake Tuscaloosa, situated along the courts. While golf may play center court, for tennis lovers, NorthRiver Yacht Club in Tuscaloosa serves just as well as a tennis resort. Get your game on at one of our eight lighted Rubico courts located at the clubs main Tennis Pavilion. All 11 courts are available for individual and tournament play.
